Good morning beautiful people out there – I hope you all feel fantastic today!
I started to draw a little bit when I came to Australia – heaps of little pictures I found on Pinterest and all different sources in the Internet. I loved it and watched myself getting better and better day by day. So amazing for someone that wasn’t even able to draw a straight stickman before! haha π
It took me ages to draw the picture that I show you guys today. And with ages I mean literally like 2-3 months – besides working 10 hours a day and using my free time for walks there wasn’t as much free time to draw. I also never used that much eraser in my life before, not even in school!! π and so many different kinds of pencils – thick, thin, light and stronger greys/blacks and so so so so so much patience!
Im telling you guys this because this is what I done and i’m so proud of myself for not giving up and worked on it day by day. Im not an artist in form of paintings and I probably never will be as its not in my interests (I rather stay with writings) but I wanted to proof myself I can do it if I want to.
And I did and I know you can do too!
Patience is not one of my strengths but this is definitely a good way to build it.
Never give up on yourself because it’s not what you expected straight away. Everything takes time. Nothing is “perfect” tomorrow. “Perfection” takes patience and a lot of work. It takes failures and falls to be able to stand up and work harder on it. It takes a lot of stamina and willing power but its the key to a fulfilled life.
My thoughts about the picture and how it got created.
If somebody would ask me what makes me think that all of us are so different and special in our very own way – I’d say its our imagination. A world you’ve been creating since you can’t even remember. Your own world nobody can ever take away from you or even understand. Your world which is full of imagination about life, about your wildest dreams and how you want it to be. The imagination about what else could be in this big world and what you believe in. The imagination of secret places and animals we may not even know yet. Our imagination is full of inspiring things and the most powerful quality we all have because it can take us everywhere. Don’t use it to escape reality – use it to create it!
